Psyc 1XX3
Is there a book for this course?

Also, I only see that two courses for nursing have textbooks. Does this mean the others don't?

Thanks!

which courses are you looking at?

most first year nursing courses will have textbooks, but the lists may not be up yet. actually the book lists for PBL and clinical can be pretty extensive... but i would hold off on buying them until you need them.

Psych 1XX3 has a course handbook and an e-book, but both IMO are pretty useless. The course handbook contains the slides from the online lectures and space beside it to write your notes. It also has small activities to aid studying, but I never really touched my handbook. I made all my notes on my laptop while listening to the lectures. The e-book is a completely optional read, no material from there will be tested. It just provides more information from the stuff you learn in lectures and it's actually written by Dr. Kim.

I noticed that you're in the Health Sciences program. One of the courses in first year is HTH SCI 1G03, PsychoBio. You can't take both PsychoBio and Psych 1XX3 if the undergraduate calendar is correct.
