What do u think is better? im not sure what to do :S i mean taking notes would be the best since i can review quickly for the exam but then again its more time consuming than just reading and highlighting .... has anyone tried one of the two?how did u find it?

No, no one's tried either of the 2 methods before. Ever.

On a more serious note, it all depends on how you learn really. Some people are fine with just reading, but I know many others benefit greatly from writing their notes out. That psych course requires you to actually understand the material and not just learn it enough that you can regurgitate some facts you read about. I strongly recommend you write out the notes and try to get a good understanding of the material itself, and not just try to read through it to get the main points only (just reading and highlighting likely won't be a good use of your time in comparison).

So even though it sucks and is time-consuming/more work, just put in that extra effort (especially if you know it works better for you). It'll pay off and you won't have to regret it later on when it's too late

Good luck!

For this course I highly recommend taking notes - it does make it a lot easier to study and when it is in your own writing it makes the content easier to understand

dont take notes on textbook. 95% of your exam will be lecture stuff. last year he told us nothing from the book would come on exam. 2-3 questions did come up but he ended up removing them. dont waste time with the book. just know the book for the quizzes then it doesnt matter if u forget textbook stuff once quiz is done.
