Psych 1X03 Tutorial TA
Hey everyone, just wondering for whoever has psych 1X03, how were your first tutorials and who does everyone have for their TA's? Also, how was your TA like did he/she seem nice. I was debating of whether I want to switch my tutorial or not so I wanted to know how everyone likes their TA's so for and if they seem nice or easy going. I want to have a good TA so that hopefully I can get the full 10% for the tutorial especially since I heard that the quizzes are really hard. If you guys can comment on who your TA is and how they are then that would be awesome!

My TA's name is Lorenzo. He is really good!

Having a good/nice/easy-going/friendly TA doesn't equate to getting full marks, nor does it mean the TA is "easy". Some really bad TAs are easy markers, and vice versa - in fact, I'd argue that a TA that gives out free marks is not a good TA. And just because you get a bad mark, that doesn't automatically make it the TA's fault.
There's nothing wrong with wanting a good TA, but that's entirely different from wanting a TA who will give you the marks for minimal effort.

Thanks guys! At starfish, I know that getting a nice/easy TA doesn't mean getting full marks but I still want to have a good TA just in general so that I can have a better understanding of the course material and get help, etc. Also, I do not want a TA that will give me high marks with minimal effort. I am willing to put in the effort and work hard to get a high mark but I know that every TA will be different in their teaching style and I just want to make sure I have a good TA. Thanks for both of your replies!
