Psych 2aa3, 2ap3, 2b03, 2c03
Hey ,

So I am going into Level II Hon. BSc Psychology, Neuroscience & Behavior and was wondering if anyone chose any of the PSYCH courses in the title and have switched their mind about their choice on these courses. If so, it would be awesome if you could message me before you drop, so that I can attempt at grabbing the course right after you drop it , as they are full when I attempted earlier.

This would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Ben

If any of these courses are required for your degree you can contact the department and get them to open a spot for you.

What if they are not strictly required but I want to take it for prerequisites needed for third year courses? Since it's pretty open with the 'choose 6 units from the Psychology course list' thing so technically I could choose other courses but I want this one? Does it still count as something that would be required to me?

Unfortunately, that does not count as having the course be required, so if you don't get in you will have to choose another course. However, it does not hurt to contact the department and ask, the worse they will say is that they cannot open a seat for you.

Okay thanks.
Actually I have another what if question. What if all the Psych course I could take are full will they open the one I request them to or would they just open a random one?

Im an actual Psych student... wanting any of those courses as an elective, on at 12:01 and still can't get into any. Psych is definetly a popular elective and not giving enough classes at all.

Yeah tell me about it. Like all the courses are offered like one semester only and only one core time x.X I'm in biopsych too and it shouldn't be this hard for me to get into a psych course! xD

Does anyone know why it opened again like that? Could other courses possibly open back up like that too?

Courses open up all the time so if you are trying to get into one that is full keep checking because you may get lucky. If a spot does not open up now there is a good chance that one will in August when people are rearranging their timetables.
