Psych 2b03 do I really need the handbook and the textbook?
Hi
I just wanted to ask for those who've taken Psych 2B03 before, do I really need the handbook and the textbook?
I took psych 1x03 and 1xx3 this year and I never touched the textbooks or the handbooks and I still did fine.

If you're taking it with Day, yes to both. It will make your life much easier (the handbook). And you need the text if you want to be able to answer most of the textbook qs.

Yeah I agree, get the textbook and the handbook. The handbook has everything he says in it from lecture, and he actually takes things from the textbook and makes them questions on each midterm and final. I think it's about 10-12 questions from the textbook readings. So that's an easy 10% for you on the midterm and final right there. But 2B03 - great course!

WELL monica
I never went to class, never listened to the lectures, and only used the handbook :@
It kinda sucks because Dr Day is a sick lecturer, but it's definitely a time saver since you can cover an entire unit in 2-3 hours instead of like 10 hours of lecture.

You should definitely buy the textbook. The handbook isn't necessary as long as you take good notes (from lecture or in the podcasts)
