can anyone tell me about this course?

what mark did you end up with in this course?

is this similar to bio 1M03 (evolution)?

what is the course breakdown and who was the prof?

Not sure if this helps, but it's the summer school outline:

The prof is Dr Brett Beston

No, the prof is Dukas.

Dukas, I found the stuff he said hilarious ... but he's very monotone so it may be difficult to stay awake. Make sure you attend class. There are lots of animal related videos in the class, which makes it really enjoyable.

The first midterm was tricky in that a lot of the questions didn't make sense. After you understood his style, the midterms/exams aren't as bad.

It's similar to evolution in that a lot of the material has a basis in evolution, but that's where the similarities stop. I haven't actually taken 1M03 (I took 1AA3) though.

It was 2 midterms and a final.

Yeah, I thought the prof would be different for the summer.

It doesn't look like there were assignments for the summer one if you look at the course outline that was posted above, but I took it during the year with Dr. Beston, and we did have them. They were easy though. All you had to do was find a journal article or pick one from a list provided and write a two page summary of it. He provided a list of questions that should be addressed in the write-up as well, and we had to do three of them, although it was your best two that counted.
