PSYCH 3FF3 - Forensic Psychology?
Anyone have any information about this course? I know Dr. Day teaches it and he's a great prof but other than that? Course breakdown? Difficulty etc...?

Do you mean Psych 3CC3? There's no such course as Psych 3FF3...

Yes, it's only open to those registered in Level III and above: http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /CALEN...13/pg1837.html

I managed to do Psych 3CB3 last semester even though I'm not in 3rd or 4th year so I don't think you have to be in Level III or IV. They'd probably waive it anyway if you ask.

It seems like a very interesting but not an easy course, just like all of Day's courses. I'm actually considering taking it too.

Check this out http://intropsych.mcmaster.c a/psych3cc3/

And to see what the questions will be like, you can check out his test bank

I took this course last year, and I was a bit disappointed, I think we all have this idea that what we see on tv is what we're going to learn in class but it's not, there are a lot of processes to memorize (for example, the steps of different questioning techniques). Since the material was dry and not of much interest to me, it was much more difficult to study. The course breakdown is the same as every other dr.day course, two midterms @30% each and one final @40% all multiple choice.

It's actually PSYCH 3CC3 and it's offered every other year by Dr. Day.

It will be offered this upcoming year in term II, but y'all better back off because I want this course badly.

Kidding, kidding, but the pre-req is that you're in level III+ and have at least 9 units of Psych.

As for breakdown, it's probably his usual 2 30% midterms and 40% final, all MC. but I don't know for sure.

(I didn't read the above comments, apologies if I'm repeating stuff)
