The best psychology course I have taken! It mirrors psych 2aa3 (the child development one) quite nicely with a mix of biology. (From my perspective) It offers a psychological social psychological view to child development therefore the studies presented are quantitative and not purely qualitative/ theoretical. Although the course does offer a nice mix of theory with relevant present day studies. Dr. Schmidt is a great lecturer very engaging even with the course being at 9:30am, often mixing lectures with films. And although the course did get a bit rushed at the end it was not hard to keep up with. Overall, very easy to complete the course work. Only advice would be to read the material prior to, as lectures (slides) contains a lot of the textbook material so you really only have to write down what he says and not the slides.

navb says thanks to merc67 for this post.
