I am taking Stats 2B03 right now with Dr. Childs (who is an awesome professor) and we are covering a wide range of topics in statistics – inferential, descriptive, probability. The material is kind of dry but the course is pretty straight forward and easy to understand. If Psych 3KK3 is like Stats 2B03, you won’t need to buy any past assignments and notes. Just go to class and do the practise problems. As long as you go to class and listen to the professor, you will be fine.
However, from its course description, Psych 3KK3 seems to be different from Stats 2B03. Psych 3KK3 only covers inferential statistics and more specifically, it only covers topics that relate to Bayes’ equation. Since it is more focused on one area, I would assume that the course is going go into depth and cover more difficult topics. Psych 3KK3 is also a third year course, whereas Stats 2B03 is a second year course. Thus, Psych 3KK3 is probably going to be much more difficult than Stats 2B03.
