Hi Tristan,
Great to hear you're interested in pnb.
since PNB is "Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour", it involves an integration of all three core subject areas. In second year, all PNB students are required to take Cognition (2XA3), Animal Behaviour (2XC3) and Neuroscience (2XB3), as well as integrative PNB, stats, and research methods. From 3rd year on, there are far fewer mandatory courses, so if you choose to tailor your courses to more social science-type psychology courses, that's definitely possible, as long as you meet degree requirements.
I can't speak from a social science PNBer's perspective (I'm a BSc), but I do find that in general, it's helpful to have at least Bio 1M03 for background knowledge, because there's often an emphasis on evolutionary processes in a number of psych courses, so it's helpful to have an understanding of that and how it works, and Bio 1M03 provides that.
There are a lot of opportunities to find out more about the PNB program once you get to mac, such as the second year program fair, and you can also talk to the PNB academic advisor, ann hollingshead, if you'd like more information
