Where to purchase iPhone 4?
Where can I buy an iPhone 4 at a retail store, that is cheaper than regular price? (i.e. Rogers sells the 16GB for $649 at regular price and I've never seen it go on sale).

Are there any retail stores that are reputable and well-known? I want to avoid purchasing from eBay, Kijiji, etc. and also avoid signing a contract.

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure they never go on sale. They are about that price everywhere if you don't enter a contract.

Haha me too.

@ OP- With these restrictions, the price will be about the same everywhere. I think your best bet would be a contract. Otherwise, there really isn't much else :S.

The price is likely going to fall in a few months when the next-gen iPhone is released, it might be worth waiting...

I got mine from virgin mobile (it's sold at the source and elsewhere), they are basically non-contract. you pay 159 for the phone up front then every month 10% of your bill goes towards paying off the phone (i.e. they contribute 10%). So my "tab", as they call it, began at $500 and after the first months bill ($55), the tab is now approx $5 less. You can break out of the service at any time, all you have to do is pay off the phone (the remaining amt on your tab).

I was iffy about their service since i'd never really heard much about it, but its been 2 months and I haven't had a problem. I find the plan is fantastic, for $55/month I get:

200 daytime mins
MY10 - nationwide
unlimited picture and regular texting
free evenings (6pm) and weekends
caller id
voicemail
1gb data

The iPhone doesn't really depreciate until the next generation is out, so, generally speaking, once it's summer it just makes more sense to wait until the newest one is released since they come in at the exact same price you would've paid for the last gen ones a few months before and the last gen ones usually drop by $100+.
