I am in first engineering now
I dropped 2 course(physic and chemistry) and 1 elective course in first semester.
I fail one elective course in second semester.
Everything else I pass(I got avg 4.1 if I only count passing course).
and I got grade report like this....

RESULTS: MAY CONTINUE, NOT ELIGIBLE FOR ENGINEERING II.
CUMULATIVE AVERAGE: 4.1/028 UNITS
SESSIONAL AVERAGE: 4.1/028 UNITS

so... I just wonder that what is meaning of MAY CONTINUE, NOT ELIGIBLE FOR ENGINEERING II??
Do I go back eng I or I have to change my faculty??

It means you have the required average to stay at McMaster, but I think you either need to get those courses (Chem and Physics, the electives aren't required) done in the summer or transfer to a different faculty. It may be possible to get them done first-term of the '09-'10 year, but I suspect you'll be at least a term behind if that's even an option.

I think the best thing to do is Call or send Sally Williams an email since she handles these things. Don't want to wait too long cause you might be able to take something 2nd term of summer

I have the same result on my grade report as well.

Do I just need to see Sally Williams to transfer to another program?
