you might want to check if its the queen elizabeth scholorship. If you get it, you will get a letter in your mail about it or check your osap application to see if it is listed there. Its probably the QE scholorship! cause that one you can get around $3500. (and renewable upon certain conditions)

No it's likely QE II... I've gotten it for a while now. Check up on your OSAP in MUGSI... and scroll all the way to the bottom =)

Go:

haha. yes. imagine getting the renewal $3500 x 4!!!
But make sure you get your 80% to get your renewal which is a 9.5/12 on the mcmaster grading system. If you lose it one year.. you wont 'be able to renew it back!! so always work hard! definately read all the information about it. you shoudl get a letter in the mail soon on the conditions, etc or check the site Ivan Q posted before.

@ mandee08 -> I'm not sure about scholarships & taxes... I think it's exempt, but then again I don't do my own taxes =(

@ shleyaa -> The percentage of students getting 80% and over will vary from program to program... I think Science is one of the lowest and H. Sci. is the highest... There was a document I read a while ago ~_~ ... but for Science, most people I know lost their scholarship b/c they got distracted with parties, etc... =/

shleyaa says thanks to Ivan Q. for this post.
