Check your mailboxes! I received the $150 Textbook & Technology Grant today.
(Yes, I know... department of redundency department ...in my title. I cringe.)

Do you actually need to pick up your OSAP cheque, or do you just need to apply and be eligible for OSAP in order to get the TTG?
I don't have any time before/between/after classes to wait in the long line, and I didn't receive much money anyway so I don't think I'm going to pick it up.

If you applied for osap than you automatically applied for ttg. IF your getting osap funding then youll probably get the $150 cheque in the mail. You can check if your receiving ttg on the osap website.

They changed it this year so you can't get the TTG if you can't get OSAP :(

I'm definately getting OSAP. They have sent me about $100. I just can't wait in line to pick it up, so it will be sent back to their office.

Don't they just include it in your OSAP amount? I didn't know they still mail out the cheques?

I believe there is no "OSAP cheque"...unless you are not talking about what I think you are talking about.
I'm pretty sure that TTG cheques (SEPARATE from OSAP), however, are still mailed out. How else would they get it to you...?

They could include it in your OSAP amount that you pick up (or have given to the University) in September and January.

The TTG is issued separate from OSAP.

Like Kathy mentioned, it is not included in the OSAP amount. It is completely different and you get a cheque mailed out to you. I just recieved mine in the mail today. If you are eligible, I am assuming you should be getting a cheque mailed to you soon!

when you log in the OSAP website https://osap.gov.on.ca/cgi-bin/lansa...u10910+OSP+eng,
just choose the second option which is TTG (we usually choose the first one to check OSAP applicantion status). Click next, then you'll see the status of your TTG, like if the cheque has been mail out or when it mailed out

It says "being processed by the ministry".
Last year, it said "being processed by the ministry" for 5 months.. ugh.

Hmm...weird.
I received my cheque today, but on the website it said "A cheque will be mailed to you at the the following address"
For my roommate who studys in another college, the website works fine. It just exactly show the date when the cheque mailed out, as the same date printed on the cheque.

Also, isn't it supposed to be $300, and not $150. I remember when it first started they said it was $150 for that year only, and they would increase the amount to $300 for the following years.
