Definetly a legendary mini series. It is a high favourite.
One suggestion off the top of my head was Equilibrium. It was blown away since it debuted around the first Matrix movie came out. It was basically 1984 in a futuristic Matrix world. I found it pretty good

Yay. The only thing wrong with this post is you felt the need to put a period before every movie, so when I copypasted this into my movie text file, it looks all ugly.

I remember that movie. It was ok. Not as good as Pegg's other movies, Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead. The latter being one of my favorites =D
Also to add to the list. Just recently I watched, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. Great movie, even though its in swedish, kind of wish I read the book first though.

Yeah I agree, but hot fuzz and shaun of the dead are just soo good (atleast to me) so its not fair to compare
Edit - Also Rocket Science, loved that movie but forgot I watched it, just saw the poster again and I remembered

Mulholland Dr.
The Lives of Others
Amélie
Oldboy
I have more in mind, but these are the ones I think are relatively unknown.

One of the best movies ever made. Morgran Freeman = awesome.
I would recommend Firefly. Its not a movie, its a television series (only 1 was released, Fox cancelled it). Its arguably the best sci-fi show.
