Recruiting Participants- Research on Working Memory
PARTICIPANTS NEEDED FOR
RESEARCH IN MEMORY

Purpose of study
Study the effects of performing two tasks on working memory with the hopes of improving surgical education for medical students

Why you should participate?
The opportunity to use a laparoscope (surgical equipment) with a box trainer
Contribution to improving medical education

We are looking for:
Right-handed students
No auditory or memory disabilities
No upper extremity injuries
Perfect or corrected vision (glasses or contacts)

Your responsibilities:
You would be asked to complete a motor task and auditory task simultaneously using a laparoscope (not on another person)
Your participation would involve only 1 session; the session will be approximately 20-30 minutes long.

This study has been reviewed by, and received ethics clearance by the Hamilton Health Sciences Research Ethics Board.
