Is it possible to redo a course to upgrade the mark????

I don't believe so. You can only redo a course if you fail, then they average the 0 with whatever you got on the redo.

I don't think that's true, I've heard of people redoing courses they just got low marks in. I'm not sure how the course counts towards your cumulative average though.

yes you can but it will not replace it will take the average. It is always the summation of marks acheived divided by summation of total number units.
Do mind that if you are taking it to get accepted into a second year course they might not count the repeat or summer marks at all

You guys are right, you actually can but it depends of the faculty.
With mine, you cannot redo required courses unless you fail (all 9 of them in second year) (n).
But yeah, not matter what, they will average the two marks together... x+y/2
