i live overseas, and from my experience they never mailed anything to me, i picked up my student card, sticker, confirmation letter etc when i got to mcmaster at the beginning of the year, and i expect to pick up my new sticker again when i get back to mac in september.

Out-of-Province and international students had to pick up their stuff last year, and we can assume it will be the same this year. Previously (either two or three years ago) out-of-province students had their stuff mailed too.
Mac was probably wasting a lot of money/people were pissed because they were sending out things much later and people weren't getting things when they were supposed to.

Really? When was your confirmation letter printed?
I find it weird though, it says that mine was printed on the 22nd, but the stamp on the letter says the 24th, so the dates might be different for when they print and when they send.  |

I registered for my courses already, and submitted the payment agreement too...

Are you in first year? That might be why. Mine wasn't printed until August 11th last year. |
