MAROONS HOW DO YOU FEEL? I FEEL SO GOOD! OH I FEEL SO GOOD OH!
Do you want to rep during Welcome Week ? Love McMaster ? Want to be involved in an MSU service?
The Maroons are an MSU service that was created to enhance our school's spirit by a past MSU president
The purpose of the service is to generate school spirit and pride and provide opportunities for students to meet and get involved within McMaster. The Maroons intend to enhance the level of student participation in extracurricular activities both on and off campus and to establish/sustain a unified identity amongst the student body.
Being a Maroon is unique in the sense that you are not assigned a specific faculty or residence . Our days usually started at about 8AM but we're fairly busy until about 11 at night. During Welcome Week, Maroons did a lot of behind the scenes work.
When Welcome Week finishes, there are still Maroons events throughout the year.At these extra events, you can go out and meet new people and show you Mac spirit! There is Homecoming, several football games (mostly at home, but one away game this year), Pumpkin Hike, Frost Week , Formal , Mentor ship and many other things to keep you busy and involved with the MSU.

IF YOU ARE DOUBLE REPPING OR INTEND TO REP BOTH FACULTY AND MAROONS PLEASE NOTIFY US.
This is due to past experiences where reps were not able to balance both Maroons repping and involvement with faculty repping. We are not trying to be exclusive in any way, it is purely a concern with reps overextending themselves and not realizing the heavy commitment that maroon repping is during welcome week.
You can also come to the Maroons office (MUSC B109) and talk to any of this year’s Exec about the application process. If you look at the Maroons website you can also find some information about what the Maroons do during Welcome Week.
