Apparently the definition of guaranteed has changed.

You have to have at least a 5 average to live in res. You can try to appeal for sure but unless you have a good reason why you got below a 5 you don't have a good shot.
Do you have any deferred term work or exams? If you did, they will count those as a 0 towards your average which could have put you below the 5.

Its not a guarunteed offer, its a conditional offer.
If you dont get into res, dont worry, theres plenty of places off campus 5-10mins away

As well, you may save a bit more living off campus than on res.

alot more.
Res is like $4500-5000 + $2500+ meal card.
Off campus, you can get 8 month lease, 400 all included.. and buy food from outside places for cheaper.

Where the heck are YOU living?
My house is 375 not including utilities.
My other house was 350
Both of which so far had one toilet with crappy water pressure that required multiple flushes. I miss bates where it jus goes "WHOOSH" and wakes up like half the rez.

True.
But living on your own allows you to grow up.
The longer you wait, the harder it gets down the road.

If one of the reasons is res food, keep in mind that you can still eat on campus all the time. It's just ridiculously expensive compared to making your own food.
