Residence Branded Hoodies and Sweatpants 2010/2011 WHAT HAPPENED?
Concern/Rant:
Back in March(or sometime around that) the CAs or someone like that were taking orders for residence branded hoodies and sweatpants. They expected this order to come in BEFORE the end of the academic year but seeing as we're now in MAY, I must ask, WTH happened?!?!?!:furiou s:
Yeh, I am a bit concerned because they took room numbers as the only means of contact. And seeing as it moved out in uh... APRIL, this might be a bit of a concern doncha think? Anyway, I would greatly appreciate it if someone would shed some light on this most annoying situation. Or can I have my $$ refunded?  |

The CA's or someone like that?? Do you know if they were your CA's for sure? Because I know that when we were ordering, there was a form with all the contact info that we had to fill out, not just room numbers. Do you know the person you spoke to?

It definitely wasn't CAs. It's almost always IRC and FlIRCs that handle Residence Clothing Sales.

Yep, It was def the IRC. I ordered some sweatpants and I got mine 2 weeks before I moved out.

Well apparently, the guy they had this contract with isn't the most reliable but I would have still appreciated some contact regarding it. |

Well as Tailsnake mentioned, I know it's usually IRC that's involved with that. Remember the clipboard you got at the beginning of the year, it has the emails/MacID of all the Hall and Programming Reps for each building. So maybe start from there and email them to find out what happened exactly

Hey,
I emailed my residence manager (according to Mac's website) but I haven't had a response yet. It's been a few weeks. Also, I happened to find the IRC rep online on fb (I sorta lost my res clipboard =.-) so I sent him a message asking but nothing since. Again, it's been a few weeks. Any other ideas? |

your best bet would be to get the contact info for the prez of the irc, or the person in charge of communications and ask them about it, a lot of the irc reps have moved on are no longer part of the irc, so theres no point trying to contact them, go straight for the top man and ask him. and yes my irc rep also ranted about how poorly this stuff was handled, she barely managed to get the things to people by the end of the term and even then she had to mail some stuff to a couple individuals.
from what she told me most of the irc clothing had been delivered by the last week of school, so i think the rep you had must have pocketed the money or just lost track of the stuff after he handed it in.
also instead of emailing the res managers try calling them, but i dont think ull get much out of them because the irc clothing was handeled by the irc and as such the res managers dont have a hand in it that much, ( they are more so involved with the CA's)
