and it says on the packing tip Passport sized photo to complete your Residence Registration at move in

does that mean I have to bring a separate photo?

Yes you'll need a separate photo. They'll use it to confirm your identity if you ever lock yourself out of your room.

Yes, I don't think they keep all the pictures after the year is done. They would also have to move it from your previous file to your new file, which doesn't seem like something they would do.

Yes (since I'll be living in residence for my third year), I can confirm that you do indeed need to bring a new photo for them

There are events on everyday, you don't have to stay in residence though. It's not mandatory. If your family function is very important then go to that one.

The schedule hasn't been released yet, but keep your eyes out for it.

I'm guessing you're an upper year (also says in your profile, but anyways...). It probably means that you can move in any time after Monday at 9 am. As in, you could move in in the evening or even Tuesday, etc. Can someone confirm if this is true?

thanks !
and its not that important, so ill probably just end up spending the night in my dorm on sunday and then go to events the next day..so i guess that that means that when we move in on sunday there would already be some first years in other buildings who have already spent their first night on saturday right ?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure about that too. No one is helping you move in, so there is no set date and time.

That is correct, the students that move in on Saturday will have their own residence events planned out for them for that day.

The reps will still move your stuff but it will be done when they aren't busy. Everything is coordinated by floors in order to ensure the fastest move-in possible. If you come when your floor isn't scheduled then your stuff will be put to the side until they have time to move it up. You can move the stuff up yourself but you have to take the stairs.
