Les Prince is the only traditional residence building with a washroom in each room (whether you're in a single or a double).

Then there's Bates with an apartment for 2. It would have a kitchen, a living room, a bathroom and a bedroom. I know people who just moved a bed into the living room and made that into a second bedroom, so that works.

There's also Mary E. Keyes, the only suite-style building at Mac. You'd be sharing with 3 others, each of you would have your own room with two bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room as well.

Hope that helps! =)

I din know about this forum before....so I could not discuss my choices with anyone who would know a lot about Mcmaster...

So hows whidden hall??? And how are the double rooms with washrooms ( i remember that in the online application I was given this choice and it was my first choice)???

YAAYYY!! I LOVE WHIDDEN HALL! I chose to live there! It's the best residence-- but I'm biased!

The positives about the residence: a lot of spirit, it's well balanced-- if you want a party there'll be one but if you want quiet there's room for it as well, people get really close in whidden because of it's set up since it's not apartment style and such, people for some reason tend to get really involved at mac after living in whidden, there's the underground tunnel to commons so we don't have to go outside in the cold winter when we're hungry, celebrities have lived in whidden in the past, there's an AMAZING staff living in Whidden next year, we got new laundry machines so washing and drying will be way easier, and i know more people can fill in information for this section

Negatives- communal washrooms-- but you'll have your own washroom so you have nothing to worry about. But to make a negative a positive- sharing a washroom with people brings people together as well!

WHIDDEN WHIDDEN WHIDDEN!!

Are there even any double rooms with washrooms in Whidden?

I hope I'm reading the tone of your posts wrong, so I apologize if this is obvious, but there's a good chance you won't get your first choice of building/room style. I'm not trying to crush your dreams here, I just don't want you to be disappointed :p

I am certain, though, that whatever building you do get into, you'll have a great time!

Haha. Pops, I've been saying that since the beginning.

On the H&CS website it says most first year students will be housed in a bunk and loft triple room.
