Hey, I am a future first year student at mac and i really want a single room, however, i didn't attain a 95% average.Nonetheless, someone told me that if you fill out the residence form, and you make your self look like a total creep, by putting all the negative things like: messy, disorganized, antisocial etc at the highest level, they might give you a single room.

Just to clarify as anyone ever done this before, and do you think its a effective method of receiving a single room? because I am aware that regardless of how you rank your choices you still wont get a single room most of the time.

I really wouldn't do it. They won't give you a single room for that and you'll probably end up with serial killer roommates. xD

lol, it's worth a try though haha. Well, from my perspective it is because it's happening to someone else.

LOL don't do that! You'll get some terrible roommate. Or maybe a good one trying for the same thing you are? Ahaha. Be honest and you'll get a good roommate that you like. To try and ensure it, rank all the single room types (single room, single room+bathroom, apt, suite) as your top ones.

In my opinion, having a roommate can be fun. A lot of the ppl in single rooms around me were either never in there room or always in there bored and on facebook. You WANT a social life. I didn't like my roommate towards the end of the year (got annoying after eight months), but if I were to do it again, I'd suffer through it rather than live alone.
