Rez waitinglist??
What is the likelihood of coming off the waitinglist? I would really like to live in Rez so I hope it`s pretty easy to come off of it. I didnt realize that you had to have over 80% to be guarenteed, and I wasnt 100% on Mac, so I just applied now for rez. How many peopletypicaly come off the waitlist??

Thanks!

It varies from year to year of course. What's your position on the waiting list?

When you go to your application, on the tabs to the left, you should see "Application Status." It's the second last one before "Cancel application." And when you click it it should tell you your waitlist number. However, because you're going into first-year, your application might not yet be processed, so the number will show up then .

I got put on the waiting list in first year simply because I forgot to apply and did it late. I was position 268 or something like that. Only the first 80 or so got off of the list.

i cant remember what my number was last year but it was under 100 - i received a spot in residence around mid july and i was told by the registrar or whoever deals with res wait list positions that usually the first 100 people get a spot. i was abroad when i found out i was on the wait list and worried about finding a place to live seeing as how i was in a different continent

I don't think anyone on here can answer your question specifically as it depends on the staff themselves. Best to call them and find out. Here's the contact info:

hey, just because he requests you as his roomate doesnt mean you'll automatically get it because he has the grades.
in order for you to get residence and be his roomate you must adhere to the grade requirement

Just clarify - only those guaranteed residence can request a roommate whom also must be guaranteed residence.

davied, traveler10 all say thanks to pjohnson for this post.
