he can't request you as a roommate, both students have to be guaranteed residence. If he adds your student number for a roommate request, it won't go through, me and my friend already tried this as he wasn't guaranteed residence and I was.

A McMaster Employee already explained that.

Yep, looks like ill be getting up at 5am to commute.

That sucks :(. But they said that this year more people accepted their offer to McMaster than they normally due (I believe a 10% increase or something) So that definitely has something to do with it :/

do you think anyone may come off of the waitlist? Like people will back out at last minute??

Yup, got the same email.
