Use your student card, it's free. As long there's a sticker with HSR labelled on it (this year is red).

As for it's reliability, it's very reliable. Heck, you can call them up on your cellphone (the number is on the bus stop sign) and it will tell you when the next bus will arrive.

Hamilton bus service (hsr) is free for full time students. Just show your student card and hop on. It's pretty reliable and you can call a number displayed on each stop to find out when the next bus will be arriving.

arg... beaten to it

If you're talking about the HSR, it's very reliable. And studen discounts...well, flashing your Student ID at the driver gets you a free ride, does that count?

...

Ah, ninja'd.

Also depends on where you are staying. If it is close to a main bus line, then there will be frequent buses going to and from McMaster.

HSR is mostly reliable in and around McMaster. I've never had one not show up and they're usually within two or three minutes of the scheduled time. If you want to go somewhere like Limeridge Mall or something then the buses get not as good. Up by my place buses sometimes don't show up and the other day I missed getting down to get to something on time because my bus was 13 minutes late (protip: there's a screen that tells the busdriver how late they are that you can see from some seats.)
