Russian
for those that have taken the course, or those that know it, I am really interested in taking it. That said, language is not my strength but I was wondering how useful some of the books, be it the courseware or other, are on russian. What do you suggest?

If anyone can assist me I'd be very greatful, it is kind of a critical.

Its a good class, if you are a beginner. However, if you know atleast SOME Russian already... the course will be boring and pointless but you will get an A+ guaranteed.

Oh, and you will have to get the courseware ( the only thing you need to get for the class) because all of the assignments and readings are ifrom the courseware.

Goce says thanks to Dolce for this post.

yeah, I am already bi-lingual and my first language is Macedonian, which means I'd already know most of the alphabet (Azbuka) and a words since Cyrillic originated in Macedonia. Thanks for the response, it is much appreciated.

May I ask your prior background going into the course, if you took it? Did you have a language and/or ethnic background that assisted you in Russsian or were you completely new to it?

Thanks again
