So this will be on WIND and t-mobile right?
Since this is one of the flagship android phones coming out right now, it might be one the of the ones that google coerces into updating when ice cream sandwich (android 4.0) is released in a few weeks. If they don't you can just route it and put stock android on there (which I would recommend anyways) and then if you need to use the warranty, just do a factory reset.

Does Wind ever get any good phones? lol.

If the phone does launch in Canada, I would expect it to be on Rogers, as I believe they are the only carrier to have launched LTE (correct me if I'm wrong). The last I heard, the other carriers are still testing LTE.

You lost me at 4.5" screen. That's just way to large for a phone. It seems like this is what we should expect to see with future smartphones too. I heard the next Nexus (Prime?) will be 4.5" aswell which is a really dissapointment if true...

This thing is a beast, but I'm holding out for the Nexus Prime. I have a Nexus One and a dual-core Nexus S would be perfect. LTE is also a SEVERE ripoff, especially with Rogers. Unless you're willing to shell out for the new network, get the normal Galaxy S II and you won't be disappointed. I rarely find myself asking myself why my mobile connection is so slow even when on a normal 3G connection... None of this HSPA+ stuff for me just yet.

Nobody needs a 4.5 inch screen though. Nobody. Any bigger and it looks silly... Like the Dell Streak... yikes.

Allan, haha, Wind does actually have good plans and phones.... Nexus S for one. But their coverage needs patching up.

A 4.5-inch screen would be in a 4.3-inch body; right now, phones like the SGS II (regular variant) have a 4.3 inch screen but extra space below with capacitative buttons, so a 4.5-inch screen in a 4.3-inch body would just scrap the buttons
