Savage The Battle for Newerth anyone?
RTS/3rd person RPG game...

think of warcraft 3, you start off with nothing but ur main base and some workers, u harvest gold, build buildings, research upgrades and kill the other team... but heres the catch, while you see everythign in birds eye view commanding everything in RTS mode, the fighter units u build... arent really "built"...

each fighter unit is a player online playing the game in 3rd person, levelling up, getting stronger, killing random critters aroudn the map to level up (or opposing team members), u can harvest minerals for your "commander" help build buildings, and other things as well. As your commander researches new upgrades and new unit types, you can become that unit, or equip the new upgrade...

theres about 16 or so peopel on each team, and one commander. whats cool is that the commander can see his fighter units (or other people playing online) and can select them and tell them to "move here" or "attack here" and help with the strategy by a lot. Anytime a fighter unit dies, they wait for a respawn timer (20 seconds) and are respawned back at the main base.

This game can either be played with random idiotic play with moronic nubs jumping out trying to attack solo, be greedy, try to hog all the levels and become the strongest "fighter unit" on their side.

OR

The game can be EXTREMELY strategic with lots of teamwork... for example, there are two "races" you can be, human and beast... There are random towers (part of the environment) that you can run up into, and humans possess an upgrade called marksmen bows (da snipa ), send 2 snipers up and keep them as scouts checking for enemy units around that area of the map. Mean while send a fighter unit who is a catapult around when the snipers say the coast is clear to hail hell on the enemy base from around the sides.

I dont wanna talk too much about the game, its actually amazing, we should really get some games goin at MLC, it would be great if we had enough people...

btw the game is 100% free!!! the company who designed the game released Savage 2, and when they'd done so, they made savage 1 a free download! Find it here:

CD Key: 00000000000000000000

Dont worry this isnt some illegal cd key, heres the website for more information, i just summed it up in 2 lines
