Hey!

I was planner last welcome week for Science and scicoing is soooo much fun!!

To apply, go to www.mac-sci.com and there should be a link up on the side.

A Scico is basically the welcome week rep for the faculty of science. Throughout welcome week, you participate in faculty day, faculty night, airbands, bedraces, shinerama + more.. it is an amazing opportunity to get to know and help out the first years in your faculty. It's a ton of fun!

If you have any more specific questions, just ask!!!!

Hi,

It seemed like to would be a really cool experience. When I fill out the application, what do they look for and what are some things that I should know? I don`t really have experience filling out online forms.

They're looking for a variety of things..

- Someone excited about helping first years
- Someone excited about welcoming them into their amazing faculty
- Dedication as a rep and willingness to help out with WW preparations

Also note that the selection panel is looking for a variety of different personalities, from really bouncy and spirited to more quieter individuals since students might feel more comfortable with one particular type of personality versus another..

Essentially, just show that you're really interested. Then, there will be a group interview process!

Scicoing is really fun so just go with it!! =)

and it stands for SCIence COeds... kind of an older term now.
