Does anyone know what happened to Professor Shintaro Yamaguchi? He's not listed as an instructor on the course timetable for next year.

Sometimes professors get involved with other stuff and stop teaching ! I know a couple of profs who stopped teaching for different reasons...some stop teaching for a certain period of time then come back, while others don't.
Sorry I don't know who Professor Shintaro Yamaguchi is.

Prof may have other obligations to teach another course or do projects/research. Maybe the prof isn't updated yet for that course or someone else is taking over.

I think he might have been denied tenure and thus left the university. I am not sure though

But he has an awesome name.
I did not expect the topic that followed such a thread title.
