What should I do.
I am trying to register for courses but absolutely EVERYTHING is full. Everything that is available doesn't work because I need to be registered in a certain program to get into that course. I still need 6 credits and I have no clue what to do. My SOLAR ends on July 5th and I'm so confused. Should I just take random courses that don't matter?
Please help me out. I have to clue what to do now and this is so frustrating. What happens if I don't have enough credits or don't pick all my courses by July 5th?
Thanks in advance.

So I can only pick 24 credits now and pick 6 more when it reopens in August?

I have the same problem, I'm not sure if I should just take random courses (like bio and chem even if I'm going into business, then hope to switch before school starts).
That way I'm guaranteed enough credits? >_<

OMG I'm in the exact same boat. This is so stressful :( Hopefully we find our solution.

I had to take 3 or 4 random courses myself. I just picked stuff that fits in to my timetable, but I have no intention of keeping them, and plan on switching them out when SOLAR reopens in August.
If you recieve OSAP, definitely take some BS courses just to get to 100% course load. otherwise, when you go to pick up your OSAP, it will have to be reassessed, and takes an extra week. Happened to me last year.

I never considered that. Thanks I will just fill my courses and change them later.

Take "random courses" to confirm your payment agreement (since tuition is based on how many units you carry). As Reeves said, if you have OSAP, your best bet is to go ahead and fill up with courses that are irrelevant to you. Then when SOLAR reopens, try and try again. I'd recommend emailing the departments and letting them know if there are courses you need for your degree. I.e. if you're in Life Sci and can't get into a Physics, send off an email. They may not remedy your situation right away but it'll help them grasp how many students are being screwed and open up a reasonable amount of seats accordingly. When SOLAR reopens the trick is not trying instantly; it's trying consistently.

Ok thanks. For now since I want 100% work load can I take 12 credits and 18 and change them later or do I need 15and 15?

12 & 18 works, because it still adds up to 30 units

You should also note that SOLAR reopens on July 12th before closing and reopening in August.
