Yes. InsideMINDS is right. Scoring high on the academics part of med school applications can be as easy as taking easy courses and maintaining a high GPA. And of course do well on the MCAT. My suggestion is, still, take the course/program you like because if you enjoy the material you are learning, the course/program will become a bird course/program
for you. Also, the following quote is to encourage those who are in "difficult" programs.
"Undergraduate academic achievement is assessed through MCAT scores and GPA. The coherence and rigour of the program of study, and the relative standing of the applicant in that program, where available, will be assessed in the interpretation of GPA.
