I could be wrong, but I believe the Sidewalk Sale is an event during Welcome Week when a bunch of sponsors that are affiliated with McMaster set up tables on campus and sell merchandise. (But mostly there's just TONS of free swag)

Yea, businesses around campus and in Hamilton set up tables on Campus to let you know about their business. Some booths will have things you can buy, and almost all boths will be giving away free stuff, like pens, paper pads, hygiene products like mini toothpaste and stuff.

Thurs, Sept 6 Open to All Students. It will run between 10am and 2pm. There will be about 40 vendors, including Bell, Telus, Ikea, Big Bucks, RBC, BMO, and MANY MORE. Tons of free stuff will be given away, including a special pack from the MSU Campus Events Department! Head over to the Edwards Quad, between Hamilton and University Hall, for your free swag!

I've been told this year will be better than last year... less cell phone tables lol, since last year was basically Sign-Our-Contract-Now-Student-Deals Sale. with the cell companies trying to lock in all the unsuspecting first-years into 3 year contracts
