SIM card cutting
Does anyone know where I can get my regular sized sim card cut down to the microsim size (like the one they use for the iphone)?

Make sure you have another Micro Sim to follow. It seems easy but it is also easy to cut to much off.

And that little can make a big difference

Take it to a nearest mall perhaps? One of those booths that sell phone cases usually do it for like $3..

Put differently, 'make sure you cut it according to a template', meaning put a micro sim underneath the one you're cutting. Yeah, if you don't get the shape right, your phone might not be able to read the chip. There seem to be a lot of tutorials on cutting online..
