Ska
Hey you skankers out there,

interested in ska? Keep track of local shows on the skank master himself's local ska facebook page

want to see an amazing local ska band play at 1280? Vote for Small Town Get Up in the Campus Music Explosion contest.

And lastly I cannot recommend a ska show any more highly then this pay what you can local ska show at THE greatest music space to grace the GTA. Siesta Nouveau is the best decorated, most intimate, DIY arts space downtown Toronto but unfortunately it will be closing down on April 1st so its a must to see a Siesta show before the end! If you like Care Bears and black and white movies then you'll love the two projectors randomly playing movies on the walls too.

Haha I was just suggesting a way to say it other than actual ska, 'cause I think "first wave" is how most refer to the original Jamaican ska anyway when trying to distinguish from two tone or third wave.

Aaaaanyway to clarify, I guess we're talking more about third wave ska in the original post but ALL SKA is appreciated! After all you skank to all types anyway, right?! (almost)
