Soc psyh 1Z03?
Although this is a new course, i was wondering if anyone knew what this course is about ? Would it contain any math/science and how does it compare to Psych 1X03?

Hey,
1x03 will focus on science psychology, whereas this course is based on social psychology, which is the study of thoughts, feelings and behaviors (affect, behavior and cognition (ABC)) within a social context. Although it is a new course, I can say with like 99% confidence, it will most likely not contain any math, but may require memorization of dates, figures and names. It's a requirement, along with psych 1x03 to continue into the soc psych program, but not to continue into PNB.

As the course outline is not posted, I cannot comment as to how the course will be, but will probably focus on a variety of topics within soc psych and will introduce majour theories, similar to every other first year course.
