Eng classes are generally only open for eng students. You can contact the department and see if you are allowed permission for some of the classes, though.

First of all, engineering is general for everyone in first year so you don't specify a stream until second year.

Now you most likely won't be able to transfer into any of the second year engineering streams because a lot of the pre-reqs are eng-only classes. The best thing for you to do would be to take some of the classes that can be transferred over (Chem, Physics and maybe Math). Then try to transfer into Eng 1 next year.

Take science and math courses required for first year. You have a much higher chance of getting permission for science courses compared to engineering courses.

List of suggested courses:
Math 1A03 and 1AA3
Chem 1A03

I'm pretty sure math and chem will be counted if and when you decide to transfer to Engineering I. I don't think physics will count, because I had a friend who switched from science to engineering and he had to take our physics.

No way.

You will have to take Engineering I, and apply for comp eng at the end of the year.
