Attention students living off-campus! SOCS (the Society of Off-Campus Students) is having a sleepover after the Tuesday night concert.
This event provides greater opportunity for First Year off-campus and commuter students to socialize and/ or attend the Tuesday night concert in Faculty Hollow. For some, staying on campus until 11:00 pm makes it difficult to get home afterwards, particularly if they have a long drive or bus ride ahead of them. As an alternative, we offer students the option of participating in this sleepover event taking place in the David Braley Athletic Centre’s (DBAC) Sport Hall, available to them with their Macpass. This will also give off-campus and commuter students another opportunity to meet and get to know fellow First Years and Reps . Some low-key activities will also take place throughout the earlier portion of the evening, allowing for participants to play board or card games together, if they decide they do not want to attend the concert.
