It was my understanding that Faculty nights are free, but I'd bring some money just in case.

Also make 100% sure your student ID has a validation sticker on it, as this will be required to ride the bus. If you do not have a sticker head over to The Office of the Registar in Gilmour hall. use the entrance that's sort of around the corner from Titles and you should find it very easily.

Hey!! I'm a first year soc-sci too, I got facebook message with all the info (join the group "McMaste Social Science 2014), so Ill just copy+paste that. Hope this answers your questions, see you there tonight

Hey All!

I hope you guys enjoyed Faculty Welcome Day!

Tomorrow(Thursday) is our last and epic Faculty Night event! We are going to be charter busing it to Baranga's on the Burlington Beach Strip. Its and outdoor club with bands, DJ, Food, Volleyball courts and alot of other awesomeness. Once again its a chance to meet people you'll be going to class with for the next four years.

We have buses running at 15 minute intervals from 5:30 to 7:30. Please arrive as early as possible because we only have a limited number of buses and spots are not guaranteed.

Also if anyone has night class, there is almost hardly any teaching ever done at these and at most the prof hands out a syllabus that can be found on Avenue2learn. So if you guys want to miss it from my judgment its not that big of a loss. Even then first classes rarely run more than 10 minutes so still try and make it to the bus stations if possible.

Bus Pickup and Drop off is Behind the Student Center(Near the La Piazza Exit). First bus comes back at 10:45PM.

See you all there,

SocSci Welcome Week Rep '10

p.s: If anyone doesn't have a macpass you can buy a ticket for this event at the SocSci "FratHouse" In the Lobby of Kenneth Taylor Hall(KTH) or Outside the Buses. Remember all proceeds go directly to Shinerama.
