Some inquiries
Hi MI users!

I am a full-time osap student but the upcoming summer school I want to take only one course and may not use osap as my funding and instead use my bank account... Will this affect my eligibility for my next school year osap application? Any helpful thoughts and suggestions?

No unless you decide to cancel the course. You're only allowed doing that once for free but after that you have to pay back the owed amount before you can get more osap

I'm kind of confused...if you received summer OSAP and now decided to only take one course, you need to tell them because now you're not eligible for summer OSAP. If you're referring to OSAP during the year, then it shouldn't affect anything.

During the regular year Im classified as a OSAP full time student. But for this upcoming summer school I want to be a part time student who does not use osap as a funding source. So since Im not using osap in the summer school, I want to ask if my eligibility to get osap for the upcoming fall will be affected?

It won't. As long as your course load during the year is full time

keiser=) says thanks to Leeoku for this post.
