Spark is recruiting Team Leaders for the 2016/2017 school year
Spark is a service of the McMaster Students Union designed to help incoming students thrive during their first year at McMaster University, is currently recruiting Team Leaders. It offers both social and academic programming, providing students with opportunities to connect with one another on a weekly basis. Team Leaders play an important role in Spark's mentorship program, supporting groups of first-year students as they make the transition from high school to university. Team Leaders act as mentors, friends, and a source of encouragement for students throughout their first year.
Becoming a Team Leader offers upper year students an opportunity to use their own experiences to help others as well as to grow their leadership skills. Facilitating mentorship sessions and Spark events, Team Leaders work together to create a supportive environment for incoming students.
