Storage in Les Prince
I'm trying to plan for storage for a single room with a bathroom in Les Prince. Is there any room under the bed for storage? Also , a the rooms large enough to bring a couple of plastic drawer units for extra clothing, or even area to put a comfortable chair? Much room in the bathroom to store extra things?

Thanks

There are 3 drawers attached to the bed and lots of space under the bed for storage. There is also a large chest/closet with space for hanging clothes and it also contains 3 drawers. Bathroom has one small cupboard for storage, you can fit quite a bit in there. I had space for an extra chair and fridge with plenty of left over space, so you could definitely bring any storage compartments. For me
I found I didn't have enough space for my clothes, but that might just be because I have way too many!

I was in Les Prince single room and I had a plastic drawer unit in the washroom and it fit perfectly under the towel holder. And in your room you have PLENTY of places to store stuff, 3 drawers under the bed, 2 (1 big 1 small) in the desk, also the desk have a huge hutch so dont worry you can put all the books on it. The closet has 2 huge drawers too. There is space next to the bed for a huge chair and there is space next to the desk for a small fridge another plastic drawer could fit but would make the room look ugly. Good Luck

Les Prince is awesome, the single room is just amazing I lived there for two years and I WISH i am living there next year too ... Only i can't afford it anymore bahaha ... but yeah HAVE FUN !!! and make sure you go out since you would feel really lonely if you just spend the whole day there...

From the website:
Rooms include a bed, desk and chair, bulletin board, shelves, carpeted floors, blinds, garbage can, wardrobe with drawers, captain's bed with drawers, VoIP telephone and internet connection. Each room also has a bathroom with mirror, toilet, sink and shower stall

There's also a virtual tour here: http://housing.mcmaster.ca/Residence...lesprince.html

@Sara the virtual tour is only for double rooms and its not exactly just like a single room cut in half, double rooms get an extra hallway for the washroom we dont get that in a single room ... so @Pebbles you can't put the plastic drawer unit like they did in the hallway in that picture, because you will have no hallway.

See the virtual tour of the double room there is a hallway leading to the washroom, in the single room there is no hallway and the door to the washroom coming out from the side of the room.

Oops, I didn't click it. But also, I forgot to mention, there's a picture of the single room in the top right hand corner (on the picture of the building from the outside, there's smaller pictures of single/double and other common areas).

Yup pictures are great! @ OP if you click on the washroom picture its exactly like my washroom, I put the drawer unit under the towel hanger (I bought the thin ones) and I put ALOT of stuff in them.

referring to the pictures ... I moved my bed to by along the wall not the window so I can use that space on the other side for other things, you can put a chair in that area.
