It looks like a shroud of poison in the sky (Which is technically true in Toronto)

Well, good news about this storm: I don't have to clean the outside of the windows. We have like 50 windows in this house... it's ridiculous. There's probably as much window area as wall area >.>
LOL! I was just thinking that! I moved into my new place recently, and the previous tenants were not window cleaners in the least, so I'm happy. :]

Lots of funnel clouds have been spotted in Markham, Richmond hill area. This was just taken http://i26.tinypic.com/15hy9ar.jpg .
I'm in Markham and the storm seems to have just left because the sky is really yellow and getting brighter. The lightning and thunder are subsiding.

It's super yellow where I am right now... still raining pretty heavily but not that much wind.

I'm going to assume it's all the fumes embedded in the sidewalk from garbage rotting on the ground during the garbage strike now releasing from being rained on.

From CP24:

Quote:
Toronto is under a tornado warning, and a number have already touched down in Southern Ontario, killing at least one person and destroying a number of homes in Vaughan.

I see it as purple XD

As for the changes in colour. Can't really explain the yellow when the clouds were there, but red/purple/other colours in that part of the spectrum is because the sun is setting. Since there are so many clouds in the sky, but still enough empty sky for the sun to shine through, the light from the sun are caught in the clouds. There's also lots of refractions and what not involved in why the colour is the way it is.

There are so many clouds in the sky that the purple radiates EVERYTHING! I look outside and everything has a tinge of purple. It's pretty cool!
