Students Helping Students Over The Holidays

Students Helping Students Over The Holidays

Recently on the Daily News a story was posted about an interesting project called "A Home for the Holidays". As most of us know, residence students must vacate their rooms once exams are over, which leaves most international students without a place to stay until the school year starts back up again. "A Home for the Holidays" is a website allowing students who would like to help these fellow students out by providing them with a temporary place to stay (ie. their off-campus student house) during the holiday break. It's a very thoughtful idea, and is being coordinated by the Housing Admissions Office and the Off-Campus Experience group.

So if you're living off-campus and have an extra pull out couch or some room to bring in a student in need for a place to stay over the holidays, be sure to check it out!
