I believe that the final grades will be posted on August 25th.

when you mean by final grades, do you mean by like another academic review session? let say that at the end of the year, you were able to stay in university after the academic review, but after taking a summer course, your marks droped a bit, not below 3 but droped from what you had before, then do they determine whether you can stay in university again? or do they change programs for you?

what happens?

can somebody please answer?

I don't believe they do another academic review following the summer. In the case that you suggest where your GPA falls as a result of your summer classes, it should not matter because they only use your sessional GPA (Sept-April) to determine whether you may proceed to the next year of your degree/get into honors.

What I meant by "final grades" was that it would appear on your grade reports and be considered "official".

I thought the grades for Term 1 went up a few days ago? It should be in your Degree Audit on MUGSI.

Yeah, I wasn't really sure because I haven't taken summer school myself. But Degree Audit isn't the same as it appearing on your grade reports.

Yeah, but it's only interim grades, so really they aren't final.

So then if my grades happen to drop a little because of the summer course i took, i don't have to worry about it?
since you said that the program i will be able to get into was decide only with the grades from Sept to April?

will I still be able to stay in the program? and stay in university?
do you know this as a fact?

and also is there a place where i can get these kind of information?

thanks

I think the best person to answer all these questions with 100% accuracy would be your academic advisor. You should call that person tomorrow.
