Super Smash Brothers Melee Players in McMaster?
Hello, I saw a thread made about this before but it was closed (not sure why).

I'm making this to seek out any hidden Melee players in McMaster/hamilton area that I don't already know about. Apparently there are people that play Melee that don't check smashboards often so I'm wondering if there are any others out there. By "play this game" I mean, you at least know the basics of this game and have a grasp of tech skills (L-cancel, wavedash, shffling).

If you play this game and are interested in playing with me and the rest of my friends here in hamilton/the GTA area, let me know here in this thread or on SWF (pm Windrose).

How good are we? We play this game very competitively and enjoy it a lot. There are tournaments every once in a while and general smashfests(ft. RaynEX, KirbyKaze, Unknown522 etc.) (If we haven't heard of you, we're probably better than you but you are more than welcome to join us as we love to expand the community and reach out to other players).

If you still play the original super smash brothers for the n64, I'd be up for it. Not really a big fan of melee and brawl.

Why would you play Melee when Brawl exists?

All three are fantastic. The N64 one takes the cake, though... Mainly on pure nostalgia. As long as people don't play as Fox, I'm fine with it. That stupid Up+A attack in the air... gah.

All 3 are good. Kirby is the best player, though and he can beat anyone. except maybe when captain falcon uses the falcon punch....then you go flying off the screen...:smile_coffe e:

A couple of my friends played competitively, and I joined them a couple of times as well.
I just liked playing as ZSS and Snake, I think I was good but my friends were waay better than myself. My one friend is pretty good, he has a couple of video's on youtube of marth, but his main has been metaknight (lol) for a while. According to this http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=2907 43, he's 4 in Ontario, and another friend is on it too, but hes just on the honourable's list.
I'm hoping with the inevitable announcement of project cafe at e3, we'll see a new smash bro's game as well - hopefully with no more tripping XD (and more 3rd party characters)

Man, how can some people -still- play the original? Nostalgic, maybe. But it does -not- hold up well at all.

Melee is the franchise's best.

New Mortal Kombat game? Ohhhhhh yeahhhhh.

If only they would come out with Marvel vs. Capcom vs. Mortal Kombat vs. DC vs. Tekken vs. Nintendo... That would probably cause my pants to explode into a million tiny pieces.
