I was just looking at the supplementary fees in the payment agreement section and it inculdes health and dental coverage. Is there a way for me to opt out of paying them as my parents already have extensive health and dental coverage and im fully insured.
Thanks

Yes there is definitely a way!
it's not open yet but will open once the school year starts..
there's an opt out deadline so don't forget to do it before then! =)

And then you'll have to stand in an hour-long line up on the second floor of the student center to pick up your check!

yep. line ups are so common, that's why you should be smart and bring something to do! DS, PSP, school work, eat lunch while lining up. then you can make good use of your time!

Or you can wait until they mail your cheque...which they do after a certain date.

I've found that if you time yourself right, like about 15 minutes before class change there isn't a lineup because everyone is getting ready to head to class, or hasn't gotten out yet....
...actually this strategy works for everything, including insane lineups to buy lunch

The cheques for the health refund dont take that long to get at all... plus if they wait for the MSU to mail them, it takes away a lot of money that we could be using to put towards MSU services.
