SWHAT.. Now Recruiting!!!
SWHAT is looking for new volunteers for the 2011/12 year. Join our diverse team of students who provide safe walks to any location on campus or within a 30 minute radius off campus. SWHAT works to provide and encourage a safe campus experience. Our team consists of students from all years and programs, and is an amazing opportunity to meet new people with great insight at McMaster.
Because our volunteers are able to choose their shifts each month, your volunteer shifts are always flexible. And, with only three 4-hour evening shifts per month – either at 7-11pm, or at 9pm-1am – you have the whole day free, even on the days when you have a shift scheduled!
For each walk you get, you will be sent out with one other person, so that your team always consists of one male and one female. Together you will be equipped with a flashlight and a radio that allows for constant contact with the SWHAT office and McMaster Security.
Help create a safe campus experience and build your resume, while still keeping your schedule manageable. Apply today! Applications are available in the office, at the SWHAT table during clubsfest, or on the web at www.bit.ly/SWHAT , and can be returned to the SWHAT office (MUSC 204A) or emailed to [email protected] .
Hope to see you Soon!
